Words
I only have time for a quick muse tonight, but I was wondering who invented the English language and how did this come about. I mean, obviously people didn't just start saying words. And who thought of the word "word" and how did they initially describe the word "word" without any words. This isn't just English, I'm talking about any spoken language. It's just mind-boggling, isn't it. Wow. This one hurts almost as much as the whole "what was there before there was anything" thing. That one makes me want to bang my head into the wall but that's another muse for another day. These things are too frustrating. I think I'll just leave them alone for what they are for now. By the way, listen to the word "word". Sounds kinda funny, doesn't it. Goodnight.

MattyMar
Just a quick note to say that I have changed the name to MattyMar's Musings. Why? Well, I have been calling myself Mattymar for quite a few years now. I don't really care whether it ever catches on or not but I think it sounds cool. I don't know why I didn't think of this name for the blog right away. Maybe it's because I'm an idiot.
This brings me to another point. You will catch me many times calling myself an idiot or making fun of myself in some other way. This is not because I actually think I am an idiot. I actually think I am pretty smart, a genius perhaps. But I truly believe that you have no right to make fun of somebody else unless you can first make fun of yourself. Since I like to take a few shots at people from time to time, all in good fun of course, I first must make sure I take plenty of shots at myself. Yes, I have plenty of a sense of humor. It is one of my best qualities. Maybe even second best, behind humility.

Matty's First Muse
Why the heck did I create this blog?
I have two other business-related blogs. These blogs are there to get my name out there and spread the word of my fat loss ideas. These blogs are very important to my business and will increase in their status as the months go by and my business grows.
OK, Matt, you did not even begin to answer your question. Why the heck did you start this blog?
There I go talking to myself again. OK, back to first person. I started this blog so that I can have some fun. I know people will come across this blog and I want them to have some fun reading something a little different from me.
You see, there are a lot of random thoughts that go through my head over the course of a day. Without a blog for my musings, these random thoughts will be nothing more than random thoughts. But with this blog, a blog where I don't have to care about grammar or even making sense, I can just type and type and type until I feel like stopping. Sometimes I may not even finish my thoughts. Sometimes I may stumble upon a brilliant idea. Sometimes my readers may stumble upon a brilliant idea. This is what I want. I want mental stimulation.
That is what Matt's Musings is all about. Mental stimulation.
Oh yeah, and nobody calls me Matty any more so when I found out that the musings URLs with Matt were taken, I jumped at the opportunity to have a few people call me Matty. It makes me feel like an athlete again. Perhaps that is another muse for another day.
